Sounds of Terra

Every country has its own rhythm.

Every meal has its own song. This is Terra’s soundtrack — one journey at a time.

Every journey has its sounds

Food and music speak the same language. They both tell you where you are, who made them, and how much time was taken. These songs were born on the road — in spice markets, olive groves and fishing harbours — and they carry those places with them.

All tracks on this page are part of the Sounds of Terra collection — original music inspired by slow travel and conscious living.

🇲🇦 Morocco
Moroccan spice market at golden hour, terracotta bowls filled with saffron and warm spices

La Terre qui Nous Nourrit

French chanson · North African soul

Three hours in a spice market. The smell of saffron, the sound of the souks, the golden light on terracotta walls. This is what Marrakech whispered into a song.

Ce qui vit dans les mains

🇲🇦 Morocco
Terra watching an older woman cook in a golden-lit kitchen in Marrakech

Ce qui vit dans les mains

French chanson · Marrakech kitchen

She said: “I won’t give you my recipe.” I said: “I know.” Some things cannot be written down. They live in the hands — in the turn of a spoon, in the patience of a flame, in what your mother knew so well. This song is for her.

Chanson française North African Acoustic Oud Slow food

“Ce qui vit dans les mains ne peut pas s’écrire.”
What lives in the hands cannot be written down.

Comme par hasard

🇲🇦 Morocco
Terra half-turned at a Moroccan Wednesday market, ochre walls and morning light, Marrakech medina

A song about the things that are perhaps not coincidence at all — and the medina that keeps its secrets anyway.

I don’t believe in coincidence — but I come back anyway.

🇲🇦 Morocco
Cover art for Ce que j'ai appris by Terra Lande

Ce que j’ai appris

French chanson · A lesson from a stranger

A man with bread and tea, in a tea-glass still steaming. No diploma needed to touch what matters. A song about what you bring home — not in your bags, but in the way you see things afterward.

Chanson française North African Acoustic Singer-Songwriter Slow travel

“Ce que j’ai appris — c’est la tasse qui fume encore.”
What I learned — it’s the cup still steaming.

🇵🇹 Portugal

Coming soon
when Terra visits Portugal

A Terra que Nos Nutre

Portuguese Fado · Mediterranean chanson

Cork forests and the Douro at dusk. Sardines in the morning sun. The Tejo flowing without effort. This is what Portugal whispered into a song — and it tastes like saudade.

Fado Portuguese Saudade Acoustic Violoncello

“Devagar, com saudade — cada sabor é uma balada.”
Slowly, with longing — every flavor is a ballad.
